Debut single from Boorloo metalcore band Permeclipse is out now! It’s heavy music, with that distorted smoothness which is super nice for the genre. Looking forward to what’s next for this band.

Great Statue — Mouth Interior Downwards
After an explosion of releases in January Great Statue is back with Mouth Interior Downwards which foregrounds the studio explorations of the Statue. As always the vocal performance and lyricism shine, but even more so than the previous releases the listener is engaged by striking timbral changes and off kilter beats.
The EP mouths its way around ideas of erotic intimacy, wetness, our bodily insides and the glimpses we get into them. (The Great Statue, 2023)
The lead single ‘Mouth Interior’ is out now and sitting in the RTRFm Sound Selection for the week of August 21, 2023.
Production, songwriting and vocal by Annika Moses.
Wild saxophone by Josten Myburgh
Mastered by Dan O'Connor at ENCODER Sound.
Ohmu — Ohmu
The debut, self-titled EP from Ohmu is out now. It is exquisitely sculpted electronica incorporating shades of the trip-hop and ambient music canon. Think Boards of Canada, and Four Tet.
Composed, produced and mixed by Balin Jennings

Jack Aberdeen — Disguise
The debut single for Jack Aberdeen is Disguise and it’s out now. The best way to describe the song is perhaps “classic,” in melody, instrumentation, and development. The song sits with a vintage modern patina, and foreground the fantastic vocal and instrumental performances.
Recorded by Jeremy Segal
Mixed by Jack Haynes

Didion's Bible — EP
Didion's Bible is the coming together of five prolific Boorloo-based musicians and artists. Their fourth EP, Faster Than You Think, combines trance link rhythm section parts, carefully orchestrated layering, and lyrics that dance between the everyday and the abstract.
Faster Than You Think is the RTRFM Local Feature for the week of August 28, 2023.
