Odlaw — Mi(l)d Life Crisis

Odlaw release their fourth studio album Mi(l)d Life Crisis on Blue Grey Pink.

This record feels very real with that recorded-live-in-the-room energy, and lyrics from/for the heart and mind, crafted rather than censored. Mark Neal and this all-star band really hit it out of the park on this one.

Out on digital and a really nice vinyl pressing from suitcase records, with a very fresh t-shirt to boot. Get it all at the Odlaw Bandcamp.

Mi(l)d Life Crisis is the RTRFM Local Feature for the week of May 12th, 2025. And, is in Bandcamp’s New and Notable list.

Teen Angst — Cerulean

Teen Angst’s self professed “gloomsville era” culminates in the Cerulean EP.

Previous singles ‘wuwu’ and ‘I’m Rot’ set the scene but this EP really highlights this bands ability to write a great tune with ‘I Want To Believe’ and ‘High School Reunion’ equally feeling like lead singles. I’d say it’s time to break out the guitars and play along.

Cerulean is the RTRFM Local Feature for the week of April 28th, 2025. Previous single ‘wuwu’ was in the RTRFM Sound Selection December 10th, ‘24, and ‘I’m Rot’ in there on March 10th, ‘25, and also added to Triple J Unearthed Radio.

Nika Mo — Panicle EP

‘Panicle’ is the new EP from Nika Mo.

Patiently and lovingly crafted indie-alt-folk out of Boorloo. Nika Mo is always partial to interesting textures and keen to attend to the sonic aspect of music. There’s nice DIY sheen to this record, it finds a sonically organic place which feels quite friendly, accessible, and real.

Panicle is the RTRFM Local Feature for the week of April 14th, 2024.
