Thomas MacGregor — Blue Heaven

Thomas MacGregor’s EP Blue Heaven is out now on Pink House Records.

It’s guitar and lyric driven music, where the lyrics strike an artful balance between embellishing and dancing around a topic/story/feeling and cracking open the essence of a thought, leading to some memorable hooks and melodies. The overwhelming feeling is one of reflection and honesty, and it’s all framed really well by the orchestration and arrangements.

The tune ‘Hot Sun Sweat’ from this EP is in the RTRFM Sound Selection for the week of October 14th, 2024.

Thomas MacGregor — Training Wheels

‘Training Wheels,’ the new single from Thomas MacGregor is out now on Pink House Records, in anticipation of the Blue Heaven EP.

Reflections on the journey of a solo artist highlighting perseverance and patience through a wash of space and synthesis. The synth + vocal combo melody sits really nice in this one and the arrangement unfolds and builds to an understatedly classic guitar solo.

Blue Heaven is out in full on October 19th, 2024.

No Nomad — Watch Me Stumble - Ben Aguero Remix

‘Watch Me Stumble (Ben Agüero Remix)’ from No Nomad’s upcoming Handstand LP is out now on Rockton Records.

Ben Agüero, Boorloo-based producer (Myriad Sun) and promoter (Wishfull Thinking), brings his flare for four-to-the-floor, high energy experimentation on this remix. It’s a really nice counterpoint to the original.

‘Watch Me Stumble (Ben Aguero Remix)’ is the RTRFM Sound Selection for the week starting Sept 30th, 2024.

No Nomad — Watch Me Stumble

‘Watch Me Stumble’ from No Nomad’s upcoming Handstand LP is out now on Rockton Records.

On these latest recordings No Nomad adopted a DIY approach to the sessions, hunkering down in a South West Australian cabin and recording themselves. After first single ‘Fool Territory,’ comes ‘Watch Me Stumble.’ It’s a little more forward and driving, with some moments of spacious release. Again adorned with the great vocal performance of Clancy Davidson and held together with on point ensemble playing.

Pre-order the Handstand vinyl over at Bandcamp.
